COGIC Praise and Worship

Praise and worship are two of the things that the Church of God in Christ is known for. When you mention COGIC all people will know that it stands for the Church of God in Christ.

Praise and worship are a key part of COGIC history and they are something we do best. Praise and worship music is what we are known for, but praise and worship may be done by any true believer who has an ear tuned to his or her Savior's voice.

At Grace Ministries Church of God in Christ, we are dedicated to upholding a standard of excellence and remaining faithful to the traditions that have been passed down to us. Our mission is to reach the lost and raise up leaders who are committed to following Christ. Through our efforts to increase discipleship and build a sense of community within the church, we have seen great success and growth.

As believers, it is not enough to simply attend church on Sundays. We are called to get involved in the lives of others and support one another as we strive for the Kingdom of God. We are in the business of faith, and it is our goal to be strong and reliable disciples of Christ.

As it is written in Colossians 1:28, 'We proclaim Him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.' May we be faithful in our commitment to serving and building up others in the body of Christ.

As servants of the Lord, we stand firm in the belief that we are called to fulfill the plans and purposes that God has ordained for our lives. This involves humbly submitting our will to His and seeking to obey His commands.

We must be careful not to distort or alter the Word of God, for it is written, 'You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it' (Deuteronomy 4:2). The Gospel message is pure and unadulterated, and it is our duty to present it in all its truth and power.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.

We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and, God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.

We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.

We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.
